New York Customers Can Now Pay for Equinox Fitness Services Using Dogecoin and Shiba Inu

Shiba Inu adoption and Dogecoin payments have both risen in recent months.

Equinox Group, a popular American fitness firm, is one of the newest U.S. businesses to accept Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Dogecoin as payment methods for its services (DOGE).

The corporation announced that it has teamed with famous bitcoin payment service BitPay for the endeavor in a recent piece on its website titled "New York: Pay With Crypto."

According to the release, all Equinox Group members in New York will be able to use Dogecoin and SHIB to pay for various services supplied by the fitness organization.

Equinox accepts a variety of cryptocurrencies.

In the meanwhile, the two memecoins aren't the only digital currency payment options available to Equinox Group members.

Clients can also utilize Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), and five different stablecoins supported by BitPay.

The Service's Requirements

It's worth noting that before paying for fitness services at Equinox Group in New York, a client must first receive a pre-approved BitPay ID, which may be obtained via the BitPay official website.

Customers who use the service should be aware that the conversion rate between selected cryptocurrencies and US dollars is locked for a period of 15 minutes, according to Equinox Group.

"Equinox and BitPay are not responsible for any exchange rate changes when payment is not completed within the initial 15-minute period or in connection with any refund permitted by the terms of your Equinox membership agreement,” the company added.

Customers who request a refund after making payments using memecoins will be paid the U.S. value that was locked in at the time of purchase.

Shiba Inu adoption is on the rise, as are Dogecoin payments.

The most recent trend indicates that Shiba Inu and Dogecoin are becoming more widely accepted as payment methods.

According to reports, Dogecoin is accepted as a payment option by at least ten publicly traded corporations, including Tesla and the Dallas Mavericks.

Similarly, Shiba Inu fans can now order burgers and sandwiches from Welly, a restaurant in Naples.
